TableauThe forward part of the game.Pair the top card of the stock with the top card of a pile in the tableau where the rank adds to fourteen. Aces are paired with Kings. Queen with 2, Jack with 3 etc. Cards cannot be moved from one pile to another. Piles may contain more that two cards. StockThe topmost card is used to pair with cards in the tableau.If all the cards from the stock are played to the tableau, then the backward part of the game begins. Any two cards whose rank adds to fourteen are discarded to the foundation. |
